Through preventive measures environmental damage is limited as much as possible. Relevant statutory regulations and any administrative directives are complied with.

Recycling means producing metal in an efficient, energy-saving and relatively environmentally friendly way. As an important industrial group Metallum takes its responsibility towards the environment very seriously. Emissions are measured and monitored, processing methods are constantly checked for optimisation opportunities.

Most of the companies are certified according to an ISO and OHSAS standard.
